Saved Responses (Beta)

Saved Responses BETA

When applying to jobs, you often find yourself answering the same questions over and over such as:

  • How did you hear about us?
  • Have you previously worked at this company?
  • Are you willing to relocate?
  • What is your expected salary?
  • ...and many more

To save time with your applications, SpeedyApply can save your responses to these questions so that they can be used to autofill future applications.

This is a new feature, so it only works on the most common application sites such as Workday, Greenhouse, and Lever. Any feedback (opens in a new tab) is appreciated while we continue to make this feature fully supported.

How It Works

Let's apply to a job application that has extra form questions like on Workday. For every new question that you see, you will have to answer it so that SpeedyApply can save your response.

Unanswered Application Question

When you come across the same question in another application, SpeedyApply will automatically answer it for you.

Answered Application Question

It's that simple. As you apply to more jobs, SpeedyApply will learn from your answers to save you more time.

Managing Your Responses

If you're interested in taking it a step further, you can view and manage all of your responses on the Profile page. Here you can update, delete and create new responses.

All questions are saved as a list of keywords to allow them to be customizable. Click on a saved response to update the keywords or response.

Response Format

  • Keywords: These are the words that you want to appear in the question.
  • Appearances: Out of the total amount of keywords, this is a number that specifies how many of them have to be present in the question.
  • Response: This is your answer to the question.

Saved responses are formatted in this way so that it's possible to handle generic questions rather than by word for word. For example, the following questions usually have the same response:

  • Are you authorized to work in this country?
  • Are you eligible to work in the USA?
  • Do you have the right to work in the United States?
  • Do you have legal authorization to work in this country?

Using keywords, you can handle all of these questions at once. The combination of keywords below can be used to find and answer each of these questions.

  • Keywords: you, work, authorized, eligible, right, legal, authorization, country
  • Appearances: 3
💡

Use keywords to answer common questions that have unique company names such as:

  • Have you previously worked at this company?
  • Have you previously worked at Capital One?

Testing Keywords

When managing a response and its keywords, you can conveniently test a set of keywords with a question.

As shown above, you can test your keyword configuration to make sure that SpeedyApply will be able to find and answer the desired questions.
